Definition and Concept
The concept of home staging has been around for 40 years.
It was developed in the 70s by an American, Barbara Schwarz, a real estate agent and interior designer.
It is a form of real estate marketing, which can be similar to the packaging of other types of products.
Home Staging allows the enhancement of the home at a lower cost (or makeover), in order to create an atmosphere conducive to sale (or rental).
The goal is to create a crush from the first visit.
Demanding, buyers (or tenants) prefer to purchase (or rent) real estate in perfect condition and well decorated.
